The Mod Daisy Quilt ✿ I designed and finished this quilt in 2022. ✿ I procrastinated posting. ✿ I quilted it on my domestic machine using top-stitch thread. ✿ I made the scalloped edge by tracing circles, overlapped by 1”. ✿ I machine stitched the binding to the front and hand sewed to the back. ✿ I gave this quilt to my Mom.

✿ Hey, it’s Ashley! ✿ I want to freshen things up around Giant Quilts. And that starts with sharing a little more of me! Giant Quilts was started as a blog in 2020 to journal the process of a beginner (me) making a quilt. I’ve made a few more quilts since then and want to keep expanding my knowledge, skills and creativity. Where is this going? I have no idea. I’ve got four quilts in progress and a dozen ideas in a notebook. My gem of a machine (thanks, Grandma!) will get me through it all and I am pretty stoked to share them.
